Hawks Eye
is named after the stone,Hawk's Eye. It's a form of quartz and is formed by fibrous
inclusions of crocidolite. It has a silky sheen and a somewhat cats-eye effect.
It's blue-grey or blue in color and is said to help when traveling by air, focusing your
thoughts , and with medidation. It occurs in Sri Lanka, India, Brazil, South Africa,
Australia, and the U.S. It has a hardness of 7.0.
