Many of Asher's powers are sexual. He has an orgasmic bite, and has the
ability to give his lovers 'aftershock' orgasms. He can fly and can also use his voice to
harm people. Although he is older than Jean Claude, he is less powerful. He has no animal
to call. It's never really given why Asher has not gained the powers he should have. I think it
maybe stems from the trauma he went through and the rejection. It's probably because he is not
as strong a person as many vampires his age due to his insecurity. Most vampires either turn
to taking pleasure in being a badass and harming people after so many years but Asher just
froze. I think it's a possibility that he may gain new powers as he ages and grows out of
being so insecure.
